  • Vicky + Justin Wedding Preview


    I'M STILL ALIVE! I know I haven't blogged for almost 2 months now, but I'm still here! Haha. It's just been so hectic for me moving back home from Davis and working full-time while prepping for my upcoming DAT's. But I just came back from helping shoot Vicky and Justin's wedding this weekend with Lynn and I thought I'd put up a photo to keep my blog alive. After I'm finished with my test at the end of October, I promise I'll have tons more photos from the weddings and an engagement session I did in these past couple months to put up! So stay tuned!

  • Summer in the Past Month


    I want to take some time to post an entry of some photos that I like from the past month. Beginning with the awesome roadtrip to SoCal with Laura, nature frenzy at my church's summer retreat in Missions Springs Conference Center, and ending with accompanying a friend shoot buildings for his photography assigment.



     

    Huntington Beach!






    Glorious sunset! I love God's Creation! =]




    The famous Blue Bayou Restaurant in Disneyland! It was Laura and my first time dining at this fancy restaurant that you can see from your boat when you're riding the Pirates of the Caribbean ride.




    CELEBRATE!! The happiest place on earth!

    Rode.. or should I say.. DROPPED.. on this ride 3 TIMES in one day! FUN FUN!




    And the huge Disneyland parking lot structure.




    Bee-zy shooting bees in Missions Springs!






    I backed away right after this shot thinking that the bee might fly towards me and attack me for invading its pollinating privacy.

    Did I mention that I like daisies? =P






    Got my freshly washed pants and shirt dirty from lying on the ground to get this shot.








    The view of the UC Davis northside campus, including Hickey Pool, from the top of the "Deathstar."




    Had to get a shot of Richard working hard as I've never seen anyone stand like that while shooting, haha. Stylish though, yes?

  • 4th of July Weekend


    Spent the weekend back at home in Cupertino and hung out with Jingyi in San Francisco to watch fireworks. The temperature is a lot cooler than it would normally be in the summer, but it was nice.


    Nothin' like a good ol' barbequein' with the dad






    Lots and lots of chicken wings (crispy skin on the outside, juicy and moist on the inside)! YUMMM

    Heading to Marin Headlands for a good spot to watch the fireworks








    Jingyi and I found a somewhat hidden path down close to the shore and this was the view of the city from there.




    Illuminated Golden Gate! Sweet!






    And on with the firework pictures! To be honest, I was a little disappointed with the fireworks not only because they weren't as OOooohh or AAaahhh as expected, but also because they had to set them off lower than they would usually due to the fog/overcast skies.




    Big explosion!




    Super colorful. Makes me want to eat Skittles or Trix.

    Where we had breakfast the next morning (hole in the walls always seem to be the best eats)




    I'm guessing he's Art.




    We both ordered a tofu, kimchee, sausage omelette. The tofu looks really out of place among the hash browns.




    MMmmm




    And for lunch after service at Lifehouse Covenant Church, KOREAN BBQ! AWESOME! Have you ever seen that much Korean BBQ in your life?!
