A couple weekends ago, I had the privilege of helping capture the wedding of Charlene and Brian. First off, I have to say that they are an awesome couple who are full of fun, energy, and love for each other! Even if I didn't say that, I'm pretty sure you'd be able to see it in their photos. I don't have any of their engagement photos up here because I missed their engagement session as I was in the ER, handicapped by a hematoma in my pelvic region last November. But I heard from Lynn that it was lots of fun, so I'm glad I was able to make it to their wedding this time.
So in procrastination from studying for finals.. I finished post-processing their wedding photos AND made a slideshow!
"Let's throw him in!" The funny thing was, if the groomsmen hadn't regained their balance right after this shot, Brian would have been attending his wedding in a "wet suit"! Haha, no pun intended.
Brian documenting his reason for giving Charlene a pair of warm socks.. so she wouldn't get "cold feet"!
And she loves it!
Red flower in the middle!
Brian in the middle!
My favorite shot of the couple that day because I feel like it really captures their passion and love for each other.
Haha, love the expression of Charlene and one of her bridesmaids here.
Sneaking in a kiss!
Like I said, this couple loves to get their groove on!
The groomsmen's gift to Brian.
Finally married! Yay!
Definitely the first time I've seen a way to kiss.
Love this shot of the flower girl as she stares blankly and confused of all the toasting that's going on around her.
It was my first time shooting with back-lit flash and the dancing was the best time to experiment.
Do you have an assistant help you, I am wondering?
You said you used backlit flash, do you use another flash for other images (at the reception when it is dark) and do you use reflectors or diffusers? I'd love to know your processes.
